I began taking photographs with a Canon AE-1 over thirty years ago. Whether a Formula 1 race in Long Beach, California or a sunset in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I just wanted to take photographs and learn more about the art and technique of photography.
Over time, my pursuit of photography has taken me to such widely different places as Telluride, Colorado and New York City. I've been strapped--literally--to the hood of a Humvee, knelt within arms length of a herd of imposing Texas Longhorns, and stared in amazement at the beauty of Yellowstone National Park in winter. Every endeavor is done in the pursuit of the "perfect shot".
I gain great pleasure in seeing in print what my minds eye has composed. Some things have changed over the years, like the advent of digital imaging, one thing that remains a constant is my love for this art form! After all of this time, I still love to frame a photograph in my mind, "seeing" the finished product before I shoot the subject. I am so fortunate that what was once a hobby has turned into a profession.
I believe in working one-on-one with my clients. If you're not happy with the finished product then I haven't done my job! Whether it's a series of head shots for your acting or musical portfolio or a corporate event, I deliver quality work at a fair and competitive price.
